Re: Can I join merchant navy after completing automobile engineering? Yes, you can join Merchant Navy after completing diploma in Automobile Engineering. Eligibility criteria to join Merchant Navy:- The candidate should have passed 12th class or equivalent with physics, chemistry and mathematics from a recognised board. Age limit is 16 years to 25 years. Candidates should be physically and mentally strong, fit for sea- services under standard norms. Only unmarried male and female candidates can apply for Merchant Navy. The candidate should have vision of six by six in each eye. The physical requirement for joining Merchant Navy are:- Height- 167 CM Weight- 50 KG Chest- 77 CM (without Extension ) and 82 cm (with expansion) Selection procedure:- Written Exam Physical Test Medical Test Personal Interview. |
