Re: Is there any upper age limit to become a High Court Judge? There is no relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category. As per now, the maximum age limit is 62 years. |

Re: Is there any upper age limit to become a High Court Judge? The minimum age required to be eligible for the examination is 21 years, and the maximum age is 35 years. And the 5 years relaxation for caste category candidates and 3 years relaxation for OBC. Other requirements to become a Judge is :- • The candidates must possess a degree in law (LL.B) and must have practised as an Advocate, Attorney or a Pleader in the High Court. • Candidate must be have citizenship of India. • Has been a Judge for at least five years in a High Court or of two or more High Court in Succession. • Has been for at least an advocate for ten years of one , or more than one High Court in Succession. |

Basic requirement : A person to be appointed as a judge of a high court, should be a citizen of India. Further, He should have held a judicial office in the territory of India for ten years or. should have been an advocate of high court(s) for ten years |
