Re: How much marks required in MHT CET to get admission in Autonomous or Government Engineering Colleges? dear friend , different institutes require different number of marks in mhtcet. for example , if you have to take admission in the COEP , PUNE then you need to score the marks more than 170. in maharashtra there are 6 autonomous institutes are present. and there are near about 15 government aided colleges are present in maharashtra. to get the best college and better branch one must score marks more than 150 out of 200. after scoring the 150 marks you will be safe in case of admission in the government colleges. to see the cutoffs of the last year kindly visit the websites 2) dte.org.in 2) coep.org.in 3) vit.edu thanks and best luck |

There are a lot of Engineering colleges in maharashtra, so getting admission is not a major issue here, But you will have to search a little hard if you want to get in one of the Very Good colleges. |

Dear, Sky is the limit as these days getting into Autonomous Government college at good place is very tough as competition between the students is very hard. ANd it also depend on board which you are studying into it. As state board has diffrent marking scheme and CBSE and ICSC has diffrent scene of marking. For getting into Autonomous government college minimum you require 290 out of 300 |
