Pharm. admission requirements include that applicants must be at least 17 years of age at time of admission, and are required to complete the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or 10+2 exam in the science stream. Required subjects are physics, chemistry and biology or mathematics. |

Re: Can I study Pharmacy being an MCom postgraduate? Since the eligibility criteria to apply for Pharmacy is you need to have science subjects. So, a commerce student cannot apply for a Pharmacy course, whether it be a Diploma in Pharmacy or a Bachelor in Pharmacy. |

For pursuing Diploma or Degree course in Pharmacy, the minimum education required is a Class 12th in Science stream with PCM/PCB/PCMB combination from a recognised board of education. So, even having completed your M.Com degree course, you can still pursue Diploma or Degree course in Pharmacy if you hold the essential education qualification required to pursue the same course which is mentioned above. |

Entrance examination is conducted by various institutions for admission in the course. So, you are eligible to get admission in the course if you possess the required educational qualification. |

Re: Can I study Pharmacy being an MCom postgraduate? If you have completed HS with commerce stream than you are not eligible to pursue Pharmacy course. If you have completed HS with Science stream than you can go for BPharm course. |
