-->> The exam conducted by SSC and candidate are selected on the basis of exam CGL that happen on the month April.

-> ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Candidate must be Indian citizen.

2. Candidate must have completed the graduation from the recognized university.
3. There is no % bar you got in the graduation.

AGE LIMIT:

>> For General Category: 20 years to 27 year
>> OBC Category: 20 years to 30 years
>> SC/ST category:20 years to 32 years.

STAGES OF SELECTION:

1.Written test
2.Physical TEST
3.Personal interview

Exam Pattern:-

Tier 1 DURATION 2 HOURs

General Intelligence+Reasoning: 50
General Awareness : 50
Numerical Aptitute : 50
English Comprehension : 50
TOTAL: 200



TIER 2 DURATION 4 HOURS

Arithmetical abilities(100 question, 2 hours) : 200
English Language and : 200
Comprehension(200 question,2 hours)
TOTAL : 400

Interview: 100 marks.

CID stands for the Crime Investigation Department. If you want to join CID, you will have to appear for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate level examination.

You need to clear Tier I and Tier II along with interview to join the CID. The eligibility criteria for SSC CGL is that candidate must have done bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university.

As you have done bachelor of arts, you are eligible for the SSC CGL. The age limit for general category candidates is 20-30 years and upper age relaxation as per government rules to reserved category.
