I am B.Tech 3rd year student You are in 3rd year...you will be eligible to apply after completing your graduation, but only in Ground Duty Branch and Flying Branch. Because for technical branch the educational criteria is a degree in aeronautical engineering with 60% marks. AFCAT will be of 2 hours with multiple choice of questions, and the sections are: 1. Reasoning 2. Numerical ability 3. Verbal ability (English) 4. General Awareness, GK 5. General Aptitude The number of questions would be around 100+.. It is advisable not to but any extra books for preparing AFCAT.... Because the syllabus of AFCAT is same as other competitive exams like MCA entrances, Bank PO, LIC etc... So follow the entrance exam books of those exams and you can easily crack AFCAT.
