Yes, you are eligible to do LLB course after Graduation only candidates must be complete Graduation from a recognised university with 50% aggregate and candidates must be qualify in LLB Entrance examination CLAT is a one of the LLB Entrance examination And also every state conduct our personal entrance examination |

Hi I m currently in the 12th grade....I want to know if there is any advantage of doing a 5 year LLB course over a 3 year LLB Course (which I intend to do after completing graduation in management studies) ....also does it make sense to do BMS (bachelor in management studies) before doing the 3 year LLB course.....also does it make sense to get a BMS graduation degree then do a 3 year LLB course and then do LLM in UK...n LLM is a 1 year course right ? Plz reply ASAP ....thank you |

Re: Am I eligible for llb after graduation? DEAR FRIEND  LLB stands for Bachelor of Law. The admission for LLB course is Based on CLAT Exam. If yor are score good percentage in CLAT exam then you will get admission in reputed college. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: The applicant should be complete graduation in any stream from recognized university. The applicant should be score min 55% of marks in graduation relaxation is applicable for LLB course on the basis on merit list. CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. It can entry level examination for law course. You should be citizen of india. You should qualified in 12th standard with 50% of marks any discipline from recognized university. Your age should not more then 20 years and relaxation is applicable for SC\ST and OBC candidates. LAW Examination Pattern In the majority of the Institutes/universities, selection is on the basis of an entrance exam. The examination is usually objective type in nature. The examination pattern covers questions on areas such as :- ** Reasoning ** General Awareness ** Legal Aptitude ** Numerical Aptitude ** Political Science Teaching is not restricted to the conventional class-room methods alone, it include case studies, mock court etc. to make the study more practical and interesting SYLLABUS FOR CLAT EXAM: General English General Knowledge Elementary Mathematics Current Affairs Legal Aptitude Logical Reasoning  all the best!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: Am I eligible for llb after graduation? Since you have completed graduation there should be no problem in applying for the LLB course. You are also meeting the age limit. The only issue could be the percentage. You need to meet certain percentage to apply for the LLB course. Please remember to apply for the 3 years LLB course. Since you have already completed graduation there is no need to apply for the 5 years course. Otherwise you will end up doing graduation twice which makes absolutely no sense. Another important thing to remember is that LLB can not be pursued through correspondence mode. It is not offered through distance education or the correspondence mode. While you will find that there is a Bachelor of Law degree that is offered through correspondence. Do not mistake it for the LLB. Its a different law course which is not recognized by the Bar Council of India. You will not be allowed to practice in the court if completed the bachelor degree in law from the correspondence mode. As for the admission, there are various colleges/universities that offers 3 years LLB course. Delhi University and Banaras Hindu University are among them. LLB Eligibility 1. For 3 years LLB course you should have graduation degree. 2. 45-50 percent marks depending on the college. 3. Up to 5 percent relaxation for the SC/ST. 4. BCI has set the age limit at 30 years. 5. Only SC/ST are eligible for the 5 years relaxation. |

The persons who are completed a graduation with 50% of average from a recognized university are eligible to apply for LLB.It is a 3 years course and another one is B.A LLB it is a 5 years course.The persons who completed 10+2 is eligible to do this course. Re: Am I eligible for llb after graduation? Yes, after graduation from any stream you will be eligible to apply for LL.B. which is a 3 years full time course. Some Institutions conducts entrance exam for admission to LL.B., but most of the Institution admits candidate to 3 years LL.B. course basing on the mark of graduation degree. There is another Law degree called Integrated LL.B. 5 years duration which can be taken after 12th from any stream through entrance exam like CLAT(Common Law Admission Test) conducted by some top Institutions. |
