Re: Can I apply for NIOS 10th class if dropped school after 6th standard? No, you can't study 10th standard in NIOS after completion of your 6th standard from a Government recognized board. To be eligible to pursue 10th standard from NIOS board, you should have passed 9th standard from a Government recognized board. Since, you have not pursued 9th standard, so, you are not eligible to pursue 10th standard from NIOS board. |

Can I apply for NIOS 10th class if dropped school after 6th standard? I'm 21 years old and I had to drop out of school after 6th standard. I want to focus on my education now and the best option for it seemed NIOS. But I'm not sure whether I can apply for 10th standard there if I've only gone to school till 6th. A friend of mine told me that I can apply for 10th in NIOS if I have signed certificate(of a government officer) claiming that I'm educated enough to apply for 10th. Please clear this confusion. |
