Re: Is GNM qualified candidate eligible to apply for UPSC exams? GNM is not degree course, therefore, you donot have to apply degree based exams in UPSC, like IAS, IPS, IFS. You can apply any post below undergraduate level. GNM is general Nursing and Midwifery. GNM deals with the education of nurses in general health care, nursing, and midwifery. This course level is Diploma based. |

The eligibility criteria for Civil Services exam is: *Candidate must have done bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized stream. *Age limit is 21-32 years. You can apply for UPSC Civil Services exam after GNM course. |

The eligibility to appear in UPSC examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university So, you are not eligible to appear for the UPSC Civil Service Examination.
