The full form of ACP is Assistant Commissioner of Police. There is no direct recruitment available for the post of ACP. The post of ACP is filled by IPS officer. IPS officer get ACP rank through promotion. In the IPS (Indian Police Service), it is known as one of the top ranks. A rank used in police forces worldwide is the ACP.

Eligibility criteria:

The candidate must be citizen of India.

The candidate must have passed Bachelor degree at any recognised university in any stream.

The age limit is 21-30years and the upper age limit is 05years for SC/ST and 03years for OBC.

To become an ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police), you have to complete CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) examination and choose IPS.
