Re: What is the percentage in 12th for inspector and sub inspector? The recruitment for inspector and Sub Inspector posts is conducted by state governments and Staff Selection Commission. And the educational qualification required to apply for these posts is GRADUATION in any discipline from UGC recognised institution or college and there is no requirement of any percentage of marks in 12 th standard but the candidate must have passed the 12 th class. Age limit to apply for these exams is 18-27 years and the age relaxations are : * 3 years for OBC candidates and state or central government servicing employees * 5 years for SC and ST candidates & ex-servicemen. Physical standards required for these posts: -> Height should be 170 cm for men and 152 cm for women & 5 cm height relaxation for candidates belongs to reserved category. -> Chest should be 80 cm without expansion and 85 cm with expansion for male candidates. -> Eye sight should be 6/6 in one eye, 6/9 in other eye for distant vision & 0.6 in one eye, 0.8 in other eye for near vision. |

Re: What is the percentage in 12th for inspector and sub inspector? For recruitment as Sub-inspector or Inspector you have to appear and qualify in CGL examination. CGL examination is conducted by SSC every year. The eligibility to appear for examination is that the candidates must have passed graduation degree from any recognized university. The age limit to appear for examination is 18-27 years. So, you have to pursue graduation degree to appear for examination. So, there is no minimum required aggregate to appear for examination in 12th and graduation. For more information about examination visit at www.ssc.nic.in. |
