PGT (Post Graduate Teachers) examinations are conducted by various states to fill vacancies of Government Inter college of various states like, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh (MP), Punjab, West Bengal, Karnataka & Tamil Nadu.

This examination is conducted by states to states and eligibility criteria are vary from states to states. But here is the general eligibility criteria to appear for PGT Entrance examination:

1. You must have complete your Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) course.

OR

2. Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with LT Diploma.

PGT examination is conducted to recruit professional teachers that are hired by various colleges along with the Schools for higher level teaching purposes. The minimum age to appear for PGT entrance examination is 21 years.

These are the subjects you can choose in the PGT Entrance examination:

Chemistry

Sanskrit

Music.
