Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research(JIMPER) is conducted by Government to select students for government MBBS colleges.So it mean that it is government ELIGIBILITY: Educational: Must have passed higher/senior secondary examination (10+2) with minimum 50% marks in PCM . Applicants should have been born on or before 01st January, 1995 for 2011 course IMPORTANT DATES: Date of examination::05th June, 2011, 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Closing date for receipt of completed applications: 25th April, 2011, 4.30 p.m. Counseling: 13th July, 2011 Commencement of course: 22nd July, 2011 For more information: http://www.jipmer.edu.in |

Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research conducts an entrance test for admission to its MBBS course. And Admission to the courses are made on all India basis though an entrance exam. This Institute is managed by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It has a total of 100 seats in its MBBS course and out of these admission to 82 seats is through JIPMER entrance. Rest 18 seats are filled by Government of India and are are selected by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, New Delhi. And to apply for this examination, You have to passed 12th or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% aggregate marks.
