The examination is conducted twice a year and apart from being a graduate, you must be within the following age limit: For Indian Army: 19-24 years For Indian Air-Force: 19-23 years For Indian Navy: 19-22 years Apart from writing combined defense service examination, you may also join the Indian Air Force by writing Air Force Common Admission Test and may also apply directly to Indian Navy through Graduate Special Entry Scheme.
