First of all I would suggest you not to run after money, without doing any work to deserve it. Money is god and we all should work to get it. If you want to earn money in shortcut, then you would head towards wrong paths and wrong deeds. This would be called Black Money. Anyways, coming to your query, Its very nice that you are a B.E This is indeed a very reputed career to be in. Engineers are required in every developmental stream and organization. So you would always find scope for yourself. There are many government jobs that you can apply for actually, some of the major being : GATE, IES, IAS, IPS, SCRA, and other UPSC Examinations. Out of these, I would suggest the GATE/IES for you. GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This is basically an Entrance organized and conducted by the IIT's every year for the selection of M.Tech candidates as well as the PSU recruitments. PSU's are the Public Sector Undertaking Companies, some of them being : NTPC, NHPC, BHEL, ONGC, IOCL, etc. They recruit on the basis of the GATE score and so great opportunities are awaiting there. The pay packages are phenomenal and very high. Work load is average and you get a very good standard of living if you make through it. You need to score 99 percentile and more to get seats in the top PSU's and you would be recruited as Engineer in these companies. IES - Indian Engineering Services is also similar, and they also aim at recruiting candidates for the various Engineering posts in government companies and organizations. So these two are the best options available for you at the moment being a B.E Hope this helps All the best Regards RANJEET |

Because every year there are changes made in the companies. Another thing is that there are very rare cases where you get high salary without much work load!! So try out best to find your place in the Govt jobs and after that you seek for high salaries. Good luck! |

You can work as a specialist officer rank in the various banks.As this is a reputed job and high salaried as well,and its upto your choice also that is the lesser working hours means less work load.So you can easily get it by passing the entrance exam. |
