Re: NIFT student is eligible for AFCAT? For being eligible , candidate must have completed class 12th with maths and physics with atleast 60% marks and engineering with 60% marks or equivalent. There is no such required percentage for entrance exam. The exam is conducted for three post Flying branch Technical branch Ground duty The age limit must be between 19-30 yrs for different branches. |

Re: NIFT student is eligible for AFCAT? There is no separate entry for bachelor of fashion technology it is same as for any other graduate so you can join as everyone else bypassing the written exam, clearing SSB and finally clearing the medicals. Combined defence services examination and Air force common admission test, these two tests are held twice a year, buns in the month of February and again during the second half of the year. AFCAT is generally conducted in the last week of August and CDSE as it's done during October. you can apply during your final years of your graduation and also after that tution as long as your age permits you. |

Re: NIFT student is eligible for AFCAT? Common eligibilty to appear for AFCAT is :- Candidate must have passed 12th in Mathematics and Physics with minimum 60% aggregate. Bachelor degree from a recognised university. Age limit is 20-24 years. So, you are eligible to appear for the examination while pursuing in the final year of the course. Re: NIFT student is eligible for AFCAT? The eligibility criteria for AFCAT is a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics with 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. You should have passed the BE/BTech level exam and scored 60% or above marks in Section A and Section B tests by the Aeronautical Society of India or Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers. For non-technical work, you need to clear graduation with 60% marks in any field and consequently qualify for the ASI or AMIE exams with 60% as well. A candidate should be an Indian citizen and should be between 20-25 ages. |

Re: NIFT student is eligible for AFCAT? °°° To get into the flying branch you would need 60% or above in physics and mathematics in 12th and you should have passed bachelor of engineering or bachelor of technology level exam and get 60% or above marks in section A and section B tests by the Aeronautical Society of India or associate membership of Institution of Engineers. Phone on technical work he would need clear graduation with 60% marks in any field and conductively qualify the ASI Or AMIE exams with 60% as well. The candidat should have Indian nationality and this is important because only the unmarried candidates below the age of 25 or married candidates above the age of 25 are eligible for application. °°° A NIFT student is eligible for non technical branch. The eligibility is that candidate must have passed std 12th in Mathematics and Physics with minimum 60% aggregate and bachelor degree in any discipline. Age limit is 20-24 years. The examination is conducted in two stages Written and SSB. Candidates after qualifying in both stages of examination eligible for final selection. |

Yes, you must have completed a graduation course with a minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. |

Yes, you can apply for AFCAT (Air force Common Admission Test) on the basis of your Degree in Fashion Technology from NIFT provided you complete your graduation degree at NIFT with a minimum of overall aggregate of 60% and have managed to secure 60% marks in both Mathematics and Physics at Class 12th. Eligibility criteria required for AFCAT: The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for AFCAT is given below, AFCAT - Airforce Common Admission Test @ Candidates must have completed 12th class in 10+2 pattern with 60% Mark's in both Mathematics and Physics. @ Also must have completed Graduation from a recognized university or institute to be eligible. @ The minimum age required is 20 years and maximum age should not exceed 24 years. Hence, if you can meet the above mentioned criteria then I can say that you are certainly eligible. |
