Those who have completed B.M.L.T ( Bachelor's of Medical Laboratory Technology or D.M.L.T are eligible to become a medical lab technologist.

Most companies prefer atleast an Associates degree in Laboratories science or related major.
The degree must be earn from an institution accredited by National Accrediting Agency for clinical lab science.

Lab technician often have a mix of education training skills and certifications to perform their job effectively

Education
lab technician years at minimum High School diploma or equivalent work
Most of companies prefer at least an Associate degree in laboratory science or related major. It can be helpful to earn a degree from an institution accredited by the national Accrediting agency for clinical laboratory Sciences.
You can obtain a bachelor's or master's degree in laboratory science to gain more knowledge about the field and increase your earning potential.

Training
The type of training lab technicians receive depend on the field. Institutions of an instruction lab techs on specific laboratory procedure during on the job training .
Training could include learning about particular method , preparing reports and how to dispose of waste properly

Certifications
Some lab technicians need to obtain certifications to work certifications include:-
Medical lab technician certification
Medical laboratory scientist certification

Skills depending on the type and nature of company lab technicians will need a diverse set of skills.The most common skills include:-

Analysis
Communication

If you have done your bsc in medical lab technician subjects than you are eligible for the following otherwise you are not
The course of medical lab technician is for masters 2 year
You can also opt for a diploma course in case you are very passionate and the duration of the course is 1 year
