Eligibility Criteria: You should be origin of India. Education Qualification: Graduation complete No percentage required. Final appearing candidates are also eligible. Age limit: 21 to 30 years. Upper relaxation applicable 3 years for OBC 5 years for SC\ST 10 years for PWD. No of Attempts: General - 4times OBC - 7times Sc\ST - No limit selection Process: Preliminary Exam Main Exam Interview All the best.............. |

I want to become an IPS officer IPS Stands Indian Police Service IPS is a one of the Civil service examination IPS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission once in a year I thank your more interested to join in IPS , so first of all complete Graduation in any stream & now on words to prepare IPS examination dally one or two hours . So it is more use full to your IPS entrance examination . And also collect more information about IPS exam like preliminary & main examination syllabus . IPS stands for Indian Police Service. To join in IPS you need to complete your graduation, now you are in 12th standard so first complete your graduation. IPS exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year. Eligibility criteria:- Applicant must have to complete bachelor's degree from a recognised university. Percentage is not an important thing to appear this exam. Candidate must be a citizen of India. Age criteria:- For General candidates: 21 years to 30 years, For OBC category candidates: 21 years to 33 years, For SC/ST category candidates: 21 years to 35 years. Selection steps:- Preliminary examination, Mains examination, Personal interview. Number of attempts:- Four times chance for General candidates, Seven times chance for OBC candidates, No limit for SC/ST candidates.
