Civil Services examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for the different services like: >>Indian Administrative Services. >>Indian Police Services. >>Indian Revenue Services etc. Eligibility criteria for the Civil Services examination: 1. Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year candidates of bachelor's degree can also apply for the exam. 2. The age limit for candidates of general category from 2015 is 21-32 years. Upper age relaxation of three years to OBC and five years to SC/ST respectively. Number of attempts: General : 6 OBC: 9 SC/ST candidate: They can give exam upto upper age limit. Since your date of birth is 05/11/1980, in 2013, you were 33 years old and then upper age limit was 35 years so after that only two attempts were left for you. Civil Services examination has three stages which candidates need to crack in order to join the services: 1. Preliminary Examination. 2. Mains examination. 3. Personal interview.
