As per the guidelines of CBSE if the candidate has successfully passed in class ninth and has registered for class 10th then he or she is very much eligible to appear in class 10th board examination at any age. Re: Minimum age require to appear for 10th Class CBSE? CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education and this board has set no age criteria to appear in class 10th board examination. As per the rules and regulations of CBSE, if the candidate has successfully completed class 9th at any age, then he or she is eligible to appear in class 10th board examination at any age. It is the sole responsibility of Directorate of State Education to determine the age limit criteria. So, visit the concerned department of the respective state for more information. |

The first thing I would like to let you know is that CBSE does not have any centralised rule on age criteria for appearing in the CBSE Class 10th board examination rather it follows the age bar set by the concerned state board of education in which the school is situated. So, to get the actual information about the age criteria for appearing in the CBSE Class 10th board examination you need to check with your concerned state education board. |

CBSE says that if a candidate has passed 9th standard at any age and has registered for board examination of standard 10th, he or she can appear for High School Board exam without any difficulty. It is the responsibility of Directorate of State Education to determine the age limit for students of respective state. So, you have to visit or contact the Directorate of State Education Board to get minimum age criteria for appearing in 10th board examination. The other option available for you is to contact the school to get details about the criteria. |

As per the guidlines of central board of secondary education (CBSE) the minimum age to appear in the 10th board exam is 14 years , as of 31st december of the year of examination . However , there is no upper limit of age to appear in the exam. |
