Re: What is the minimum marks required to get into NIT through AIEEE? Hi dear, The cut off for AIEEE keeps changing every year. But if your rank is within 20,000 ,then your selection is sure. So according to my approximation, you should try to score above 200 in aieee. But if you are aiming of top branches like CS/EE/Mech , then try to score above 250. Also if a particular NIT belong to your home state , then you will get 50% reservation in that. Thanks |

If you are appear in the AIEEE exam and if you get the rank upto 18,000 then i think that you can get a chance to take admission in the NIT college. There are limited seat available in the NIT and a large number of aspirants appear in the AIEEE exam so competition becomes really hard. QUESTION;-sir ,my AIEEEscore is 155 and my state rank in category is 530 .no reservation..ie in open category.. will i get a seat at nit calicut..or in which college will i get?? ANSWER: I THINK your rank is very good. your state rank is enough to get admission in your nearby college. there is a special reservation for the sc/st candidate in nit. for sc /st candidate their is a requirement of rank is about 50,000-60,000 for ph candidate it is about 1,50,000 but as you say you are a general candidate, no reservation is there. but you will get admission there. good luck |

admission in nit with 70 marks dear friend:- you are asking me about admission in nit with 70 marks . then i will say it is not possible. because in nit mainly 22,000 rank is required. but your rank will be about 2,00,000/ by seeing it you can not get admission in nit . good luck |

counselling in nit dear friend:- if your marks is 165. then i think your rank will be about to 30,000 and with this rank you will be able to get admission in nit. i see 7 round in nit for admission. in every round you have to fill up choise saperately. good luck |

DEAR FRIEND:- as your marks are too less and i think your rank will be about 500,000 with this rank to get a government college will be rather difficult. but you get a government college easily. which is good reputated. you have to a college around your state. or your region good luck. |

DEAR FRIEND:- FIRST OF ALL IF........you are a general category student. then i will say you can not get a college like nit, because in nit rank requirement is very less. this is about 22,000 but if a sc/ st student then i say you have to try in nit, also if you are a ph student , you may check in nit... otherwise no need to try in nit. with this rank you can get a other best college like pec , pu (punjab university) which are highly demanded by student in punjab. you can also try in your best state colleges good luck. |

DEAR FRIEND:- REQUIREMENT OF AIEEE RANK IN NIT IS DIFFERENT FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORY STUDENT. if you are general category student, then to take admission in nit , your rank must be equal to 22,000. but if you are a sc/st candidate then if your rank is about to one lac. then no problem. for obc or non creamy student it is may be about to 50,000. but , if it is for PH STUDENT , then if your rank is about 1,50000 then also you can get admission in nit. good luck |
