A Clinical Embryologist is a medical scientist who carries out the laboratory procedures relating to In-Vitro Fertilisation. A Clinical Embryologist can work in an IVF Clinic alongside a Gynaecologist and an Urologist.

You would be involved in works like -
  • ICSI
  • GIFT
  • ZIFT
  • Nurturing gametes in artificial media
You can do M.Sc in clinical embryology to become a Clinical Embryologist. The duration of the course is 2 years which consists of four semesters. To do this course you need to have a MDBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/Pharmacy/Nursing/BVSc/Dairy/Fishery/Engineering with Science(Biotechnology and life science related) degree from a recognized university.
