Re: Marine engineering undergraduate qualification requirements I have secured 56% in 10th and completed my diploma in tool & die making with 75%. Now i wish to join marine engineering.Am i eligible for this course? will my 10th % cause me any trouble in future? |

To join such courses you have to be adventurous and courageous. The various requirements to join marine engineering courses are:- Education qualification:- 10+2 or equivalent with physics or maths. As far as Merchant Navy is concerned, an individual holding a degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Technology Engineering may join through direct entry. Such candidates will be eligible to join as Fifth/Junior engineer in Merchant Navy. Apart from a degree in engineering, candidates have to undergo pre-sea course of 1 year to be eligible |

Last date for receipt of applications: 30th January, 2012 The Union Public Service Commission will hold the examination on 15th April, 2012 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 129th Course, and for the 91st Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from December 2012 |
