Age Criteria required to join LKG Class in CBSE, TamilNadu: The detailed age criteria required for a child to join in LKG in CBSE based schools in Tamilnadu is given below. Name of the class standard - LKG >> As far as my best knowledge is concerned, the minimum age required for getting admission in LKG based in CBSE board schools is 3 and 1/2 years or above. >> Hence, I would suggest you to join your kid in Nursery right now and then to LKG next year as he will be little maturing by that age. >> Also she will get habituated to go to school from LKG onwards once you join her in Nursery from now. >> You may also contact the concerned school for getting more detailed clarity. |

Re: What is the age limit for joining LKG in cbsc tamil nadu? Minimum age required for LKG admission in CBSE schools of Tamil Nadu. The ideal age of entry to LKG should be 4 years and Standard at 6 years. The date of birth should be between 31st July 2017 to 31st July 2018. |

It is the Directorate of State education who decides the age limit qualification to get admission or appear in the board examination. So,visit the official website of the concerned office for the detail information. |

If you admit your child at the age of 3 years 6 months in LKG Then, there won't be any problem for your child to appear in 10th standard Board examinations. The minimum age required to appear in 10th standard board examination is 15 years. |

What is the age limit for joining LKG in cbsc tamil nadu? My daughter DOB 08/06/2020. i joined her in lkg june 2023. If any problem in the future writing exam in10th and 12th. Or i have to join in next academy of june 2024. |
