Re: How can I join NDa after diploma in Mechanical engineering Sir what is I answere 12th standard and do my polytechnic in mechanical am I eligible for either NDA or IMA. No doubt I can answere NDA after answering 12th but is it possible to get into IMA after doing my polytechnic? |

Diploma students are not eligible for NDA Entrance Examination. Only 12th standard or equivalent qualification candidates are only eligible for NDA Entrance Examination. NDA Stands for (National Defence Academy Examination) and this examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. This Entrance Examination for Army/Navy and Air Force wing. Required Educational qualifications for appearing in NDA Entrance Examination must passed in 12th standard or equivalent qualification from recognized university. No Minimum requirement in percentage of marks. Candidate pass marks in 12th Standard is enough to apply for NDA Entrance Examination. For Appearing in Air Force/Navy Wing Applicant must complete 12th Standard in science stream with physics, chemistry and Mathematics. No commerce/Arts are not applicable for Navy and Air Force wing. Age of the applicant should be not less than 16.5 years and should not more than 19 years. The Marital status of the candidate should be Male (Unmarried) and The Applicant should be note that physical fitness are also take place very important role for entered into defence wing. |
