Minimum Qualification- To appear for the UPSC IAS exam you must have proof that you are a Graduate from a centrally or state-recognized university. This means that you should have a bachelor’s degree certificate from any university incorporated by an Act of the State and Central Legislature of India, or any institute of education established by an Act of the Parliament of India. Medical and Physical - You must make sure that you are physically fit and capable for the job as tasking as an IAS officer. For that, you need to match up to the physical standards for admission to Civil Services Examination 2023. |

Re: What is the minimum age limit for IAS examination? IAS stands for Indian Administratie Services. For selection as an IAE officer, you have to appear and and qualify in UPSC examination. Age limit for IAS examination are: Minimum age limit - 21 years Maximum age limit - 32 years Upper age ralaxation is applicable of 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for PH candidates is applicable as per government rules to apply for IAS examination. |

The examination is conducted for recruitment of candidates as an I.A.S, I.P.S, I.F.S etc. The required qualification to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline and age limit is 21-32 years with relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category. Re: What is the minimum age limit for IAS examination? I.A.S is Indian Administrative Service. For selection as an I.A.S Officer, you have to appear and qualify in UPSC examination. The eligibility to appear for the examination is that :-. Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. Candidate must have age between 21-32 years as on 01st August of year of appearing form examination. So, you will become eligible to appear for examination in 2022. |

It is conducted in three stages. The common eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit is 21-32 years with relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category. So, you will become eligible to appear for the examination in 2022. The maximum age limit is 32 years for general. Age relaxation is offered to SC/ST of 5 years and OBC of 3 years. The minimum educational qualification required is graduation with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. |

The minimum age required for appearing in the Civil Services examination ( often known as IAS or IPS examination) is 21 years as on the 1st August of year of examination while the maximum age limit is 32 years by the same date with age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. So, having born on 30th November 2000, you can apply for the Civil Services examination 2022 and onwards but not before that.
