NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and for appearing in the same examination, the minimum education required is a Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as major subjects with at least 50% marks in PCB group subjects from a recognized board of education. In case of reserved category candidates, the minimum marks required in PCB group is 40%. So, having opted for PCM group instead of PCB group for your Class 12th academics, you are not eligible for appearing in NEET. Re: Possibility to appear in NEET for 12th PCM candidate? Let me tell you that it is not possible to appear in NEET Entrance examination having PCM stream in Intermediate. It is compulsory to have PCB stream in Intermediate to be eligible for NEET Entrance exams. As you have mentioned that you have completed Intermediate from PCM stream then you are not eligible to write NEET Entrance exam. |

Re: Possibility to appear in NEET for 12th PCM candidate? No, you are not eligible for NEET as you are a PCM student. NEET stands for National Eligibility Entrance Test. It is conducted by CBSE every year but from this year it will be conducted by National Test Agency.From now ,it will be held twice in a year. Eligibility criteria for NEET~ Candidate should have done 12th with PCB stream from any recognized board with at least 50% marks. Age limit will be from 17 to 25 years. Re: Possibility to appear in NEET for 12th PCM candidate? The full form of NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. Eligibility criteria for NEET exam: 1. You must have done 12th from a recognized board. You must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 12th standard. 2. Minimum of 50% marks in board exam of 12th is required. You can not apply for NEET exam if you have not studied biology in 12th standard. |

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and it is a common medical admission test for offering admission in undergraduate medical degree course in any medical college of India except AIIMS and JIPMER. The minimum education required for appearing in NIT is a Class 12th in Science stream with PCB group from a recognized board of education. Further, the minimum marks required in PCB group is 50% ( or 40% in case of reserved category candidates ). NEET stands for National Eligibility Entrance Test which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. The eligibility criteria is that candidate must have passed or appearing in 10+2 with PCB stream with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board. Candidate age must be 17 to 25 years. The age limit is 17 to 25 years and relaxation is available for reserved category. So, you are not eligible to appear for examination with PCM in 10+2. Possibility to appear in NEET for 12th PCM candidate? Hello, I have scored 70.5% marks in my 12th standard with PCM stream. I want to appear in NEET also along with Engineering Entrance exams. So, is it possible for me to appear in NEET with PCM stream? |
