NET Economics (Paper III) Exam - Download Previous Years Question Papers National Eligibility Test or NET is conducted by University Grant Commission or UGC. The test is conducted twice a year, once in the month of June and again in the month of December! NET helps the deserving candidates to get a job of teachers in Higher Education institutes, Colleges and Universities in different states of India. Through NET candidates are also awarded Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Candidates can appear for any of the subjects in which they have done their masters. Economics is also one of the subjects of NET. It has two papers, paper II and paper III. In paper III candidates have to answer conventional type questions. The paper is of two and half hours and full marks are 200. Section I is of 25 marks, section II is of 75 marks, section III is of 60 marks and section IV is of 40 marks.
