Sir if anyone passed in prelims but failed in mains in the next attempt what he has write both the prelims nd mains or only the mains

The selection procedure for IPS comprises of three stages for both boys and girls.
1. Preliminary exam- Civil Service Aptitude Test
2. Main Examination
3.Interview
Candidate have to qualify each stage to reach the next level.

Hai,

IPS stands for Indian Police Service.

There is no differant selection process for girls and boys, so same process for all the candidates. This exam conducted by the UPSC once in a year.


Eligibility criteria:-

The candidate should be complete bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university.

Final year persuing candidates are also eligible.

You must be a citizen of India.

Percentage is not a matter to apply this exam.


Age criteria:-

The age limits of the candidates should be in between 21 years to 30 years,

3 years upper age relaxation for OBC category candidates,

5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates,

10 years upper age relaxation for PWD candidates.


Selection process:-

Civil Services Preliminary Examination,

Civil Services Mains Examination,

Personal interview.


Number of attempts:-

4 times chance for General category candidates,

7 times chance for OBC category candidates,

No limit for SC/ST category candidates.

there is no special procedure to select the girls.it is same for boys and girls
