The Indian pharma companies are taking to R&D in a big way leading to faster drug development and exploiting growth opportunities. In the current scenario of the employment Pharmacy is the only field which gives you the surity of Job. The candidates who are working in Pharma field are generally called as pharmacists. They deal with the preparation, mixing, compound or distributes various drugs, medicines, tablets, ointments, etc. Their main work is manufacturing of various pharmaceutical products. After B.Pharma if you want to study further then you can go for following courses- M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry Management Program in Pharmacy Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) Now a days Pharmacy field is a very vast and a fast growing sector. The pharmacists can work both in central government, state government departments and in private industries. The pharmacy field provides a bright career in ways of both a good employment and in terms of beginning own business. Several institutes and organisations in the government sector are committed to research and development of drugs and formulations, regulation of their quality, prices etc. These institutes give employment to pharmacists. These government institutes/organisations are- Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) Lucknow. National Chemical Laboratory, Pune. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, (IICT) Hyderabad. Central Drug Standards Control Organisation (CDSCO). National Pharma-Co-Vigilance Centre The Department of Pharmacology, AIIMS, New Delhi. Regional Research Laboratory, Jorhat. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER). Indian Medicines Pharmaceutical Corporation limited. (IMPCL). There are various private pharmaceutical companies in India which have their own research laboratories, with well established equipment to provide a better and effective working environment.These companies provide various job opportunities to Pharmacists. It is known to be the best university for this discipline in India with its well equiped labs and highly qualified faculty. What are the scopes for me in this field. Should i continue with this field or should i prepare for CAT or GRE and shift my discipline? though i am not very much interested in this field but in case it can pay me more then i can stand with it.I am an average student in academics relative to my college standard so taking financial matters (salary packages) into consideration should i go for M.Pharm or should i prepare for CAT/GRE ect ???? |
