Yes, you are eligible to apply for NDA while pursuing 12th class but the last date to fill the forms of the NDA II 2011 were already over. So, please try after passing 12th class. In 2012 the exams will be in the month of April and the last date to fill the forms of NDA I 2012 will be in the month of november this year. |

Re: Dates of 2nd NDA exam? Am I eligible to apply while in 12th standard? NDA exams are conducted twice in a year. first in may and second exam in october month. The age limit for this exam is 16.5 to 9 yr. Yes, you are eligible for this exam.You need 10+2 with maths and science for NDA. |

So, after Completing your 12th, You are Eligible to Appy for NDA examination. The NDA I examination was alreay over, So if you have missed the chance in this year, then you can apply for NDA II examination. NDA I examination was completed on 17/April/2011. And the NDA II examination Notification Was declared on 09/April/2011. The last date of apply for NDA II examination was 09/May/2011 And the entrance examination are going to be held on 21/Aug/2011. To apply for NDA II examination, your age should between 16.5 to 19 years. And if you want to get complete information regarding NDA II examination, then please visit the official website and Read the given notification - http://www.upsc.gov.in Best of luck,,,, |

CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM:- 1)nationality: you must be citizen of India. 2)age,limits,sex and martial status: you must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st january or 1st of july of the year succeeding the year of examination. 3)educational qualifications: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can also apply. 4)physical standards: minimum acceptable height is 157.5cms You are eligible for NDA exam. best of luck |

The next exam is scheduled for the August this year. But the last date to apply was in May. So the next notification should be out towards November or December. |
