Sor, my gate 2012 score is 27.33 and i got 7200 rank in all India in electonics and telecommunications stream and 95.93 percentile, which institute i can get. and what is the procedure for admission in program. GATE exam if for getting admissions in Govt. organizations like IIT's, NIT's and some other reputed Govt. institutions like UVCE etc. if u want to do M.tech without appearing for gate, u can opt for some private Engg. colleges or try Bits Pilani, where this has its own entrance exam. |

Re: When will be the counselling of GATE for admission in M.Tech.? hi, GATE i.e Graduate admissions test in Engineering 2011 results are to be announced on 15 of march 2011 and Results are also made available on Gate Websites. This score card is valid for two years from the date of Your given Exam results . Just after the Results of 2011 Gate Exam you can apply for the Institutes individually, There is No specific Counselling by GATE boards like graduate Exams have. Just after few months Various IIT's/NIT's/IISC will publish Details regarding admission into M.tech Program, that time you need to apply for the institutes individually. i think You are having less score as it should but don't mind you can easily go for masters in NIT's Or any other private college which accept gate score i think. List of Colleges who accept gate score Card just try out once, If you don't get don't feel pain, If you get selected then you will be called for oral interview and Final selection list will be displayed and your admissions will get confirmed. thanks |
