Re: Why do we need clerks in Banks? Hi Aspirant Bank clerks are required in each and every bank and without them their is hardly any chances for the bank to do work.As bank clerks do a lot of work. Bank clerks are required from banks to do the works like in cash counter means to calculate the cash and to distribute the cash. Also the Bank clerks can be used as helpers means if any person comes in the bank need any type of help than bank clerks are always ready to help the person. Bank clerks works on the computers also for the welfare of the bank and they are help the person to make a new bank account for them. Over all bank clerks have to do a lot of work and without them bank can't think of daily huge transactions because without them it is not possible. Best of luck |

Possible answer: approx 100 customer of a banking org to cater their different needs approx 10 member(employee) (This was only towards the customer) Now, to invest the banking asset, they might 1 or 2 more heads....... Any bank both private and state run, have more than a million customers, hence they need few people to look after the paper work....now since the introduction of computers, labor requirement has come down....human beings are kept so that the social requirements are also fullfilled. Private Org will have less employees than National Org, not to mention the benefits. |

Dear friend, If Government starts to recruit all officers than they have to pay huge amount to them, but as clerk are lower in post than officer so they have to pay less than officer, so to perform some amount of task that can be done without officer , clerks are recruited. |

Re: Why do we need clerks in Banks? There are some jobs where the level is education required is not much. These are normally monotonous jobs. They donot required much planning. These are mostly execution type jobs. They will be required perform tasks like data entry, filling etc. They perform tasks as per instructions. |
