The registration for the IBPS CWE started in first week of March and ended in the first week of April and the exam will be held on 17-06-2012. Where as for SBI CWE the registration had started in December and the exam was conducted in March. The minimum educational qualification for PO exam is graduation from a recognized university. The age limit is at least 20 years and maximum 30 years However for SBI the minimum age required is 21 years. However for last exam it was 18-28 years. So this may vary. But some relaxation in the upper age limit may be provided for SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates. Educational Qualification required this year for SBI po exam was -minimum of aggregate 60% marks (a relaxation of 5 % i.e. 55% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ XS). PWD(OBC) & XS(OBC) candidates in 10+2 -Graduation from a recognised university the main topics which come under the written exam are usually - General Awareness, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Marketing Aptitude and Computer Knowledge. |

Re: Date of SBI PO exam? Hi dear, Presently there is notification regarding the Probationary officers recruitment by SBI. Hope the notification will be released soon as the recruitment for Clerical exam written test was over on 23rd January, 2011. Anyway there is a notification regarding the Probationary officers of Andhra bank which is also a prestigious one. There is the recruitment by Andhra bank for 1000 clerks and 450 probationary officers. Andhra bank is also a public sector bank. You can try for that. My suggestion for the preparation is focus more on General awareness which will be the deciding factor most of the times for most of the students whether to qualify in written exam or not. Almost any bank exam pattern will be by written test and interview. Written test will consists of questions from following categories -Reasoning -Quantitative aptitude -General awareness -Computer awareness -Genera english For SBI, it involves marketing questions and computer awareness in one section. There is vacancy for the recruitment of the bank PO in the State bank of India To apply for the above the online registration should be done before the date 25.06.2011 Fees of the registration has to be paid from the date 02.06.2011 TO 23.06.2011 Written exam is on the date 07.08.2011 (SUNDAY).
