Sir I have completed B.Sc AIT from SMU distance mode.But can I be regarded as general graduate to apply for Assam govt teaching post for science in M.E School? Presently working regular teacher in L.P but Assam govt is not giving graduate scale of pay for my degree B.SC AIT.plz cearify me. |

Re: Regular MCA after B.Sc (IT) from SMU though distance learning? Yes, you are eligible but for regular MCA, you need to go through a entrance test for MCA admission in good college in pune. Your graduation degree score also matter upto some extent. Entrance exam mainly consist of :- 1. Reasoning 2. English 3. Quantitative Aptitude. Prepare well to get your seat . |

Re: Regular MCA after B.Sc (IT) from SMU though distance learning? of course you can do . but there is many colleges in India . provides much well study about mca. i m also a student of bscit from kuvempu university. but u should have maths in 10+2 level or graduate level. but some universities not allow for correspondence students . like NIT< DU, IIT, but is good option for JNU. best of luck, |

Sikkim Manipal University Directorate of Distance Education is recognised by University Grants Commission(UGC), Ministry of HRD & Distance Education Council (DEC). It is also a Member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). So, a Bsc.IT degree from SMU Directorate of Distance Education is equivalent to a bachelors degree in IT discipline obtained from any other recognized university. You are therefore eligible to get admission in MCA in regular college on the basis of your Bsc. IT qualification. |
