Re: Is it true that boys are preferred more than girls for Aeronautical Engineering placements? No that is not true..... There are many posts for Aeronautical engineers which is suitable for girls. For example, Graduate Engineer Trainees, Junior Engineers, Assistant Technical Officers, Consultants, Systems Engineer, Aerospace Designer Checker etc.... So girls are also given preference in Aeronautics....Don't worry about that. So if you are interested in Aernautical Engineering, then go for it.... Jobs are waiting for you there.... Some areas where you may find jobs are: Airline Services, Aircraft-Manufacturing Units, Defence Research Laboratories, Civil Aviation Departments, Software Design, Education Institutes, Armed Forces. |

Yes, its true that boys are given more preference than girls for the Aeronautical placements as the boys have more strength & they can easily manage any typical situation if arises.So the ratio of placements are 60% to 40% respectively.However if the girls are more efficient in their physical standard then they too considered for the same. Its quite true that it all depends upon the job position too as in the design oriented jobs the preference is given only to the efficient candidate rather than on the basis of their sex.They are expected to have a high level of technical precision. |

The companies giving first preference to boys and then girls, Because, the having A physical, mental and Mechanical Strength more than the girls. But girls also get a job in companies based on their Technical skills,communication skills,design skills and General Knowledge.So, both boys and the girls get Equally Placed in the companies based on their qualification. |

Is it true that boys are preferred more than girls for Aeronautical Engineering placements? after aeronautical engineering most of the companies prefer boys rather than girls, so does it mean that girls do not have a chance for placements |
