Re: NDA exams timings? Hi dear, The NDA entrance examination to be conduted in the year of 2010 has already been conducted. You can apply for the NDA examination to be conducted in 2011. The notification is generally published in the month of OCT. The last date for the receipt of application falls in the month of NOV. Re: NDA exams timings? NDA (National Defence Academy) is one of the platforms through which you can express your indomitable spirit for your own country India. Eligibility for Indian Army : 1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination. 2:Marital Status:Unmarried 3:Sex :Male. 4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19. 5:Nationality: You have to be A citizen of India, or subject of Bhutan, or subject of Nepal, or Tibetan refugee . Application Forms are published in any leading newspapers during March or April every year and entrance examination to be held by the UPSC six months later from the application form is published. The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India. Each year course start twice January and July. Selection Procedure: National Defence Academy selects the candidates in three phases : i)A written examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). ii)An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSC) to check the potentialities Intelligence and personality. iii)A medical examination by a Service Medical Board(SMB). The written examination is of two papers of all objective type questions. i)Mathematics of 2.5 hours maximum number 300 including Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics. ii)General Ability test of 2.5 hours maximum number 600 including General English, General Knowledge,Physics,Chemistry,General Science,History,Freedom Movement,Geography,Current Event After clearing the written exam you will be called for a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step of selection. On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training. The NDA exam is generally conducted twice a year and they are conducted generally in the month of the April and August this year the NDA I exam was held on 17.04.2011 and the NDA II exam was held on 21.08.2011 the eligibility for the NDA exam is that one should pass 12th board exam from any of the recognized board and the age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years for the general candidates and there is upper age relaxation for the OBC and the SC/ST candidates for the other details you can visit the official website http://www.upsc.gov.in |

Re: NDA exams timings? hi sorry to say that the time to apply for NDA exam of 2011 had already passes and the dates were like: Last date for Online Application :15th November, 2010 However, in respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain remote localities specified in the notice the last date for receipt of applications by post/speed post only (not by hand or by courier) is 22nd November, 2010 Date/Day of Commencement of Examination -17th April, 2011 |

Its the right time to write NDA exam. In april 2011, NDA I exam will be held, but the form submissions are over. In August again, There will be one more exam (NDA II), The forms are available and the last date for submission is on 19th April. Prepare Maths (basics), then english (vocabulary, sentence foemation, grammer, etc), Physics, chemistry, biology, geograpy, history, general studies. All for 10th standards. Thanks. |

Hello, The timings for NDA exams are 21/2 hours.The last date of submission of form is on 15th November, 2010 that is for NDA 1 and for NDA 2 the last date is on 18th April, 2011.So i guess it will be better if you appear for NDA 2 exam.The forms will be out by 12th March, 2011.The exam will be conducted on 21st/28th August, 2011.For preparation you don't have to worry.Your class 11 and 12 syllabus is good enough to do well in the exam.You can refer in this website.There are some question patterns.You can prepare accordingly to it. http://www.careerquips.blogspot.com/2008/08/syllabus-of-nda-examination.html All the bets. |

Dear friend In NDA exam you can also appear as appearing candidate.The form of NDA exam comes two times in a year.Generally it comes in the month of march and October.To see the advertisement , you keep in touch with weekly news paper named employment news. If want to perform well in the exam then you have to read the the math ,physics and chemistry of +2 throughly.For general knowledge you have to read some good G.K. book. I am giving you the name of some books that are as follows Physics Physics by H.C. verma (vol 1 and 2) Physics of NCERT (vol 1 and 2) MCQ in physics by Deb Mukherji Math Math by K.C.
