Indian Nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of (i) 12th level with Mathematics and (ii) Bachelor's Degree of Full time 3 year duration from a recognized University With any one of 1. Mathematics 2. Statistics 3. Business Mathematics 4. Discrete Mathematics 5. Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science 6. Business Statistics 7. Computational Mathematics 8. Elementary Mathematics 9. Elementary Statistics as one of the subjects. Those who have done Bridge Course in Mathematics are also eligible to apply. The percentage marks for (i) and (ii) above will be calculated on the basis of method used by respective Board / University. Students completing degree from Open Universities are also eligible to apply provided their course is approved by UGC/AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India. The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for NIMCET10. Such candidates shall have to furnish the proof of fulfilling the eligibility criteria of NIMCET10 preferably at the time of Counselling/Admission but not later than 31st July, 2010, failing which, their admission may be cancelled by the respective NITs. The State of Eligibility is the state from where the candidates passed/appeared for graduation. |

The eligibility for NIMCET 2010 is: Indian Nationals must secure 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of (i) 12th level with Mathematics and (ii) Bachelor's Degree of Full time 3 year duration from a recognized University Since, you fulfill all the eligibility condition you can apply for NICET, 2010 |

CGPA is 6.5 my all india rank in NIMCET is 258.. iv got a 7.5 GPA in my grads.... according to my state BOARD rule of counting percentage, my 12th percentage is 58....... and according to the general rule( BEST 5), my 12th percentage is 62.4....... AM I ELLIGIBLE??????? |

Maths. as one of the subjects in any one semester/year, both in graduation and at 10+2 level are eligible. For SC/ST candidates the percentage of marks required is 55%(6.0/10 CGPA). Those candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examinations in 2007 are also eligible to appear for the test. However, they will have to furnish proof of having passed in the qualifying examination, with 60% marks, at the time of counselling / admission. Indian Nationals only are eligible to appear for the NIMCET |

For SC/ST candidates they should have got atleast 55% aggregate of 6/10 CGPA. Candidates should also have studied Maths/Statistics/Business Maths in Graduation as well as 12th. |
