Re: Procedure to join Indian Army after completing Diploma? ->Yes you can join INDIAN ARMY as a Recruit or as an Officer.To be eligible to apply there are some educational qualifications and Age criteria to qualify. ->To be a recruit you have to be a 12th passed candidate and a age between 17.5 to 19 years and Bha ->To join INDIAN ARMY as an Officer there are a lot of entries available. * NDA Examination * CDS Examination * Direct Entry * University Entry Scheme * Technical Entry Scheme * Short Service Commission (NCC special Entry Scheme). The eligibility Criteria are vary form the exam to exam and Post to Post. Intermediate is the Minimum eligibility To Enter into defense. NDA Eligiblity : NDA Stands for National Defense Academy and this examination is conducted by UPSC Comission Twice in a year. To apply for NDA Examination, you have to complete your 12th examination form a recognised Colleges and Universities. To apply for NDA Examination, Your age should between 16.5 to 19 years. The Notification published Twice in the employment newspaper. The Notification of Next year examination will be Published on 31/Dec/2011. So Eligible candidates may apply for NDA Examination. CDS Examination Eligiblity : CDS Stands for Combined Defense Services and this examination is also conducted by UPSC Twice in a year, To apply for CDS Examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course form a recognised board. To apply for CDS Examination, your age should between 19 to 25 years and eligible candidates may apply for these Academy as per the eligibility : IMA/OTA/NAVAL/AIR-FORCE Academy. * For IMA/OTA : You have to complete your Graduation in any discipline form a recognised Board. * For Naval and Air Force : You have to complete your Engineering degree or B.sc with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects. Age Eligiblity for CDS Examination : * For IMA : 19 to 24 Years * For OTA : 19 to 25 years * For Naval : 19 to 22 years * For Air Force : 19 to 23 years. GOOD LUCK. |

Re: Procedure to join Indian Army after completing Diploma? After completing your diploma , you can join INDIAN ARMY army through NDA exam which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Eligibility:- --minimum 60% of marks in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board. -- must be an Indian. -- no color blindness. -- minimum height is 157.6 cms -- eye sight is 6/6. -- this exam is applicable only for male. -- you must be unmarried. age limit :-16.5 to 19 years. chest expansion:- 5 cm with regards, GOUTHAM. |

I am sorry you are not eligible for Indian Army after passing diploma course. If you want to apply then you have to pass the graduation. After that you have to qualify the C.D.S exam. C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C. Re: Procedure to join Indian Army after completing Diploma? Am a Diploma Graduate in electronics Engineering. After completing my matriculation(T.H.S.L.C)I directly did Diploma without taking PLUS TWO. And I have passed NCC C Grade Exam also. Could you tell me the procedure to join in the ARMY. |

To join Indian Army you have to fight Civil Defence Services exams i.e. CDS and NDA exams. Both CDS and NDA exams are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). A. FOR NDA EXAM: - Educational Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised board. Age Eligibility For Indian Army - 16 Years to 21 Years. Physical Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate should be physically and mentally fit. 1. Eye Sight = 6/6, 2. Height = 167 cms, 3. Weight: 50 Kg 4. Chest: 77 cm (Normal) / 82 cm (Expanding) B. FOR CDS EXAM: - Educational Eligibility For Indian Army - Graduation in any stream with minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised institute / university. Age Eligibility For Indian Army - 21 Years to 30 Years. Physical Eligibility For Indian Army - A candidate should be physically and mentally fit. 1. Eye Sight = 6/6, 2. Height = 167 cms, 3.
