You must go for medical science stream in at least 4 years and should have atleast Biology as one of your subject as it is mandatory to be a doctor of any specialization of any degree... So, you are not eligible for cardiologist after 10th with out this qualifications... So,My dear dude go for any bio stream... |

Re: To become a cardiologist what should I opt after 10th? You have made the blunder. Without Biology you can not become Cardiologist. You have just finished 10th standard. Going forward you will have to complete 12th standard which will be followed by the MBBS. You can not do MBBS unless you have Biology as one of the subjects in 12th standard. Therefore if you want to become Cardiologist then you should take PCB stream for 12th standard otherwise consider some other career option. Cardiologist can be explained in simple language as the heart specialist. He treats various heart conditions such as coronary artery diseases, valvular heart disease, heart failure etc. Cardiologist is responsible for conducting stress tests, finding coronary blockages, advising diet plan for the patients and when the situation becomes quite critical, he/she also performs surgery. The process of becoming Cardiologist is quite long which is why there are very few such professionals in the country. Now if you want to become Cardiologist then please follow the procedure mentioned below. Eligibility/Process 1. First you will complete 12th standard. 2. Physics, Chemistry and Biology should be the subjects. 3. Apply for the MBBS through NEET entrance exam. 4. Must have 50 percent marks in 12th to apply for NEET. 5. After completing MBBS apply for 3 years long MD course. 6. It should be followed by DM in Cardiology course which is 3 years course. Upon successful completion, you will become Cardiologist. |

Dear Friend, * You have no other ways left to opt for medicine other than taking Physics, Chemistry, Biology after your 10th standard examination. * So, if you have the idea of becoming a cardiologist, no other go, you will have to choose only Biology group. Dear Friend, why are you so quick, I am sorry to say that you can not go for being Cardiologist after 10th. for this you gave to complete your graduation degree,means you should take your subjects in 12th Physics,Chemistry,Biology. then pass the 12th scoring minimum 50 % in PCB including English also. then sit in WBJEE,AIPMT,or AIIMS etc.. exams then you go for MBBS, and choose there cardiology as your preference . Good luck. |

HI!!well,if you wish to become cardiologist then definitely you should opt bio group in 11.however if you don't have interest in biology or feel biology is quite tough,then find out what you are interested in,i.e aeronautics,astrophysics or any other science stream.because medical is a profession where you can't shine just by your merit.you need a strong passion,dedication,patience,moreover love your job.so,it is best to choose the stream that you are entirely interested.don't fear that it may be tough or ..if you have a real interest in that field it would surely serve you good.all the best. |

You can go for or you an prapare for IPS,IAS like exams. you can also go for LLB. then you are eligible for giving magistrate exam. best of luck |
