The percentage of marks that you have scored in B.Tech course is good. Scoring 73% percentage of marks in B.Tech course is not an easy task. But I don't know the reason why you have scored only 51% of marks in your 12th class. This is an unfortunate thing for you. Just because of this, you are not eligible to apply for TCS recruitment procedure. Not only for TCS, you are not eligible to apply for the job opportunities in any MNC. Here is the criteria that is required for the candidates to apply for Jobs in MNCs at fresher level. -Candidate should be having 60% of marks in all the academic levels. -Candidate should not have any pending backlogs -Candidate should not be having an academic gap more than 2 years. But you don't need to worry much about this. There are some companies, when they come for campus placements, they will hire the candidates only on the basis of percentage of marks in Graduation itself. You better apply for those companies for job opportunities. Otherwise you can apply for non MNCs where there is no percentage criteria of career 60 and gain work experience for 1-2 years. After attaining work experience, try to apply for MNCs. Then you will be absorbed easily into MNCs. This is what I can suggest for you. Wish you all the best. |

Sir i have 58 percent marks in 12th including my optional subject but its 64 percent when m calculating only my major subjects that is excluding my optional subject. Am I eligible to write the written test for TCS? |

TCS criteria: Educational Qualification: candidate should have secured atleast 60% marks of 10th, 12th and B.Tech. Candidate should not have more than 2 years of study gap. Gender: both male and female are eligible to this exam. But the candidate should be citizen of india. All the best. |

Dear friend, Your marks in 10th and graduation level is very good But you marks in 12th standard is not good that is less than 60% marks. But for TCS you will have to score minimum 60% marks throughout your academic career.As you have got below 60% marks in 12th standard. So you are not eligible for TCS. If you are interested in TCS Then you will have to fulfill these criteria first : 1.ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION : The candidate must score minimum 60% marks throughout academic career. 2.STUDY GAP : Maximum 2 years of study gap is allowed here. 3.BACKLOG CRITERIA : No pending backlogs are allowed here. |

I am really sorry my friend but the minimum eligibility criteria for TCS placement is 60% in 10th ,12th and B.Tech..since your 12th percentage is low..hence,you might not be able to sit in the placement.. but..since you have a good track record other than that and 73% in B.Tech is also considered quite good..hence you can talk it out with your college administration and if they can make a special provision for you or talk to the company's head during placement..only then it would be possible.. all the best and loads of luck.. ~Hope this helps..  ~With Warm Regards "Nitz" |

Eligibility for appearing in TCS campus drive:- 1.The candidate must have 60% aggregate through out the career, including 10th and 12th. 2.The candidate should not have any pending backlogs during graduation. 3.The candidate must not have any study gap more than 2 years. These are the criteria to appear in TCS campus drive. As you have secured less than 60% marks in 12th , so sorry to say you that you are not eligible.. You can go for some small IT companies those are recruiting students having Aggregate even less than 60%.. try to get the information about those company.. All the best.. |

Eligibility criteria for TCS - 1. 60% marks throughout the academic carrier . 2. No backlogs are allowed . 3. Year gaps more than two are not allowed . Your marks in 10th and B.tech are good .But according to the criteria 60% marks are required through the carrier and as you have 51% in 12th so I think you are not eligible . So start your carrier with small software farms and get at least 3 to 4 years expirience then try for MNCs like TCS,CTS,IBM etc. Thank you |

Hello friend, Although it seems that you have a decent percentage in class 10 and quite a good one in B.Tech but still your class12 marks isn't sufficient enough. TCS has given the eligibility criteria of 60% throughout your carrier. Therefore it's not possible. May be you should try for some other comapanies of CMM level 3. All the best. |

TCS Recriutment criteria is : you should have scored minimum 60 % marks throughout your record +IT knonwlegde as you scored less you would not be eligible to appear in the recruitment process of TCS But do not worry there are many companies which demands only b.tech marks and you can try for a job in such comapnies |

So,you are not eligible for tcs but don't loose heart as many companies are waiting for you which accept 57.2%,as their eligibility criteria is 50% throughout. If you dont get placed in tcs in campus...then get into a company with less eligibility criteria and work there for 2-3 years,then join tcs based on your experience in the previous company.
