Re: Which is the top branch for girls for better placements through B.Tech? Hai, In my view Computer and Science engineering is most suitable to girls. Why because in CSE only we have chance to work in home. Because most of jobs related to computers, laptops . Girls can do their work in home also. Where as if you take other branches we have to go to other areas to learn work and we have to work there. And we know boys can do physically and mentally where as girls can do mentally but not physically. Most of the CSE jobs are related to metal ability. |

Re: Which is the top branch for girls for better placements through B.Tech? Although all the branches are equally good, but for girls Computer engg, electronics engg and IT are most suited. Branches like mechanical, civil,chemical etc involve a lot of field work, involves supervising male labours nd technicians etc and its difficult for girls to cope with it. On the other hand, computers, IT and electronics enng involve office work only so its easy for girls to do well in these branches .. but at last, it comes to the interset of ur daughter. if she has interest in some branch beforehand, then she must opt for that line only... and regarding the difficulty of studies in these branches, they r equal in this matter as far as student is willing to study. |

Equal & rather good opportunities are available in each branch..It depends more on your interest.... since salaries are generally higher in circuit branches (computer science, electronics and electrical engineering) these branches are taken to be the best ones..but believe me...anyone can be screwed even with these streams as career options...it all depends on what interests u and in which field u can do justice to yourself.....And another factor that's important is from what college u going to do your engineering.If u r entering any normal private college , then u may face difficulty at the end if u r from streams like mechanical, civil,chemical etc...so i advice u to try to enter into a good renowned college ." <<< That true so make sure you choose a good school as well. |

Its what suits you, or what you actually desire to study as a career. Girls are physically weaker to boys, so that induces a factor in choosing an Engineering course. The top Engineering B.E/B.Tech courses which are taught in India are : ECE - Electronics and Communication Engineering CSE - Computer Science Engineering ME - Mechanical Engineering CE - Civil Engineering IT - Information Technology EEE - Electrical and Electronics Engineering Now keeping in mind that ME and CE are two such branches which are bound to have on field labor and site work, so they are considered tiring and tough. Its not that girls do not study these courses, but yeah one would always want to avoid such laborious streams when streams like ECE, CSE, IT are offered on that plate. So according to me, CSE, ECE, IT, are the best streams for girls as they require mental labor more than the physical one. --> Talking of Placements, CSE and IT are the top branches. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, Syntel, CTS, etc are all IT companies and hence they look to recruit most of the CSE and IT batches from every college. Thus more placement opportunity. Girls are proving themselves in every stream. They are getting jobs and placements in nearly every stream. So it is very hard to say where a particular girl will shine and can make her career. But it is said by people, that Electronics and Communication and Computer Science are the best branches for Girls. But girls also get jobs and high posts in IT companies like IBM, INFOSYS, HCL, TCS, CTS, WIPRO after doing B.tech In IT. Girls are also present in core companies after taking Mechanical, electrical and civil. So For you which one will be best, don't know. So choose your stream, that you want to join, make a career in that field which you wanted always. All the best. |
