Hi dear, as your son holds a domicile from punjab state and nit jalndhar being in punjab.....your son is absolutely eligible for the state quota....... it doesn't matter from where your son completes his education.......its all that you mist have a domicile of your home town to apply for aieee state quota ....... your son will be eligible for both all India merit list and state quota merit list....... twp different lists will be released ......and your son can apply for both of them......and he can even get two college and that time you will have to choose any one for your further studies........ your son is not only eligible for nit jalandhar on the basis of his aieee score but also eligible for state level engineering colleges.......... you need to apply for that separately....contact the education office near your place for more details and procedure,........ best of luck Thanks |

Re: Qouta for domicile of home state in nit jalandhar? sir I was transfered from Jamshedpur to Hyderabad in 2009, as my husband is in central government job. My daughter's A.I.R is 1943 & state is 333.Will she get a seat in NIT Warangal under HS. We are not from Andra Pradesh. |

At school level these document donsen't work that much...But for appering in any state Level exam....state generaly demand or give some relaxation to domicle candidate...and treated other as general. But for addmission purpose it can be 40-50% of seats. |
