I am a commerce student but i realy want to get into the Air Force. Will my qualification as a bcom student be a constraint for my AFCAT ?

Hi,

Since time is running out. The preparation for the AFCAT exam should be in the war footing. Sink or swim policy.

But those who have been trying for various competitive exam, this exam would not haunt them.

The only book that is available in the market specifically for this exam is

AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) Exam Guide by Ramesh. Price Rs 190

The number of page is 100. If one swallow 10 pages per day. One would be confident to face Air Force AFCAT examination confidently.

eligibility for flying branch:-


*age-19 to 23 years

qualification:-Graduation 60% and pass 12th with physics & math.

AFCAT exam is conducted twice in a year by the Indian Air force. This exam is
of 100 marks and you will get 3 marks for every correct answer. For every incorrect answer 1 marks is deducted.

For the preparation of the AFCAT exam you have to go through from its
syllabus. The syllabus of the ACAT exam is given below.
(a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment,
Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc.

(b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection,
Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary.

(c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit
& loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.

(d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial
Ability.

For the preparation of AFCAT exam you can consider the following books

For VERBAL AND NON VERBAL : R.S Aggarwal
For English and Mathematics : S.Chand and R.S Aggarwal
You can also consider the books of UPKAR publication.
