If you want to become a mca you need both maths& computer. But now a days all soft ware companies are looking stdnts who having knowledge in computer. So i sincerly say that you need to study b.sc computers.Because of the reason is after completion MCA you will get job releated to computer. So you need to concentrate more on computer b.sc only. You need learn the follwing courses to become a good soft ware engineer

Hi
both are two different part of education
one is math and another is computer..
Both have great future in their areas
but you have only read concentrate on study..

After graduation you do mca that is great...
For your future..........

hello dear

you see, if you are interested to do MCA after graduation then you must do BSc Computers.

as you know MCA is nothing but master in computer application.

if you computer basic will be clear, then you can do MCA easily.

apart from that you can easily accommodate with the programming language. but if you will go from math background then you will face lots of problems.

all the best........

Yes you can do BCA either in Maths or Computer.., But if you going to do MCA..without having math in +2 level but try to take maths subject in BCA course as it will be compulsory....as maths should be there either in graduation level or +2 level....

and now onwards there will be change in criteria i.e students need not have Certificate in Computing (CIC) to get admission into BCA and MCA courses offered by IGNOU.

Some of the best university for BCA are
symbiosis
mdu university Which would offer better salary?
and Bharati Vidyapeeth

for Bharati Vidyapeeth notification come in Mid week of June, so keep checking the wesite 2011 www.bvimr.com

hope this fulfill your requirement!!

as you planned to do MCA after B,SC...
it is very useful to do B.SC COMPUTER SCIENCE

=>you can develop your programming skills well after the completion of MCA...

=>this is the course required by many MNC companies...

=>you can also develop your program by doing side-by courses....

all the best...

I know that you are very confusing situation. But don't confuse.I am giving you some suggestion to clear your confusion.
My opinion is that if you do graduate in Math, it will be better for you when you will do MCA. I am telling this because MCA syllabus is full of math. So if you are not strong in mathematics so you will face lot of problem at the time of MCA.
Besides you can do some computer course from your nearest computer center. It will make your computer knowledge better.

If you want to pursue MCA ahead, you should go with BCA at graduation level.

As doing BCA will provide you a better and preliminary knowledge of computer field and MCA too.

BCA will boost you chances for scoring high in tancet and other entrance exams.

Also the eligibility criteria for MCA is BCA at graduation level, or you should have mathematics at your 10+2.

So in my opinion you should go with BCA rather than B.Sc Maths at your graduation level if you want to heads up for MCA at post graduate level.
