There are so many languages are introduced in engineering.A computer science engineer have the knowledge about hardware as well as software.So its very good to know about both of fields.A computer science engineer have to strong in programming which is very helpful to get a good job. Re: Type of education in Computer Science Engineering? The syllabus that each university follows will be different. There will definitely be uniformity in the topics covered but with small changes here and there. Different programming languages will be the ones that will be covered during the period of study. They will also be taught on various protocols and networking parameters. You can the syllabus in the website of the university where you plan to pursue the course. |

Re: Type of education in Computer Science Engineering? maximum languages which are used in computers are covered in computer science like c,c++,java...etc.,how to survive in software companies to complete projects are covered in computer science engineering.now computer science is having very good demand in be/btech..so computer science is very good selection .rather than to opt ece ,eee ,mechanical are very good branches..cse have ups and downs .but remaining branches except cse/it. are in always stand by positions.they will mainain constant throug out the years.so better think and opt nice branch... |

Computer science is the main branch now because now a days more demand on computer science subject MANy MNC are in INDIA they will placed more people. MNC LIKE:- TCS WIPRO SATYAM MICROSOFT CAPEGEMINI COGNIGANT many others are there and they will give good salary for people in year wise |

Computer Science And Engineering (CSE) is a course where you have to gain knowledge in subjects like: Date Structure, Networking (advanced), Operating System, Languages like C, C++, JAVA, Mathematics (statistics, numerical methods and algorithm, graph theory etc), Graphics and Internet, Database Management, Windows programming, Unix Shell Programming, etc etc... So in CSE you will gain knowledge about both software and a bit hardware features... |
