i'm planning to write the FTII, pune entrance exam next year. Can you please tell me where can i fin the model question paper for preparing the test. Aslo
specify a good text book for preparing the test.

To be a successful director, primarily you should have dedication, concentration, creativity,
sense of responsibility & respect to this profession.
Then comes everything else..
Eligibility criteria for Education in Film-making
Basically, For technical courses eligibility is 10+2. For other courses, Graduation(any) is the minimum qualification.
Selections
Aptitude tests and interviews are conducted by the respective colleges/universities to assess the candidate's talents.
Course Duration in Direction
For Film & TV Direction, 3 yrs
For TV Direction, 1 yrs
Job Prospectus of Director
He is responsible for the management of all the creative aspects that go into the making of a film.
He is the one who turns the script into reality on the screen.
He decides the each & every aspect of work.
Course Duration in Direction
For Film & TV Direction, 3 yrs

This is very intresting course.For direction you have to make your thinking creative. this depend on your mind how many ideas comes in your mind.

As much ideas will in your mind your thinking will be develop and you can be a best director.

If your intrest is in direction then you first study direction.

You can apply for PG in Direction courses. I see that you are a IT professional. So, I don't think you can manage both at a time.
If you want badly to be a director , you must quit your job.

Film direction course at FTII for IT graduates and working professionals?

HI, I m Mayur. I am a IT graduate and currently working professional in IT firm in Pune. I wanted to know that whether IT grads can go for Direction Courses. I want to become a director and have a passion of it. Also are working profesionals allowed if enrolled for ftii curriculam ( any certificate / pg degree ) ? Please guide me for the same.
