Re: How to prepare for bank exams? Question papers for Bank Exams?

Sr. No Name of Test (Objective) No. of Questions Maximum Marks Duration
1 Reasoning 50 50 Composite Time of 150 Minutes
2 English Language 50 25
3 Quantitative Aptitude 50 50
4 General Awareness (with Special Reference to Banking Industry) 50 50
5 Computer Knowledge 50 50
Descriptive Paper on English Composition (Essay, Précis, Letter Writing etc) 25 60 Minutes
Total 250 250

As you know that you have to answer 200 - 250 questions, so do fast calculations and try to use most of the short cut available in the world of maths.

Apptitude and reasoning can be confused so allocate more time to solve them.

Use the 10 th math book ( r.s agarwal or r.d sharma ) it will help you a lot in the quantitative aptitude test .

Reasoning question will be mastered by practicing it and it depends upon your creativity.

Read grammer books for the english section , it will help you in antonyms , synonyms and sentence formation.

Read the telegraph , hindu or any other english news paper for general awareness, you can also read magazines . mark the important things which will help you in the future.

D'nt guess and mark answer as it will increase the chance of getting wrong.
mark if you are 100 % sure.
solve last year question papers.

Thanks

BANK PROBATIONARY EXAM TIPS!!!!

In such kind of exams, the main focus should be SPEED, you should be able to attempt all the questions.

Some of the questions which are easy may be available at the end,so dont mislead by the confusion.

Try to read all the questions, practise alot on the past year questions.

Some of the good books worth reading for bank PO exams are:

1. R. AGGARWAL'S VERBAL AND APTITUDE BOOKS

2. R.GUPTA'S BOOKS

3. BARRONS BOOKS

So practise on the past year questions, and gain the momentum, success will be yours!!!!

Re: How to prepare for bank exams? Question papers for Bank Exams?

Bank jobs are considered to be very lucrative and therefore it is not surprising to find people flocking towards these jobs which naturally create a lot of competition for its entrance exams. In order to deal with competition, one needs to prepare well for the entrance exams.

*Determination is one of the key factors when it comes to bank exam preparation. Strong determination will help you to remain focused on the exams and eventually it will help you to achieve your goals.

*Preparing for the bank exams from the right study materials is very important.

*There are also many coaching classes which are held specifically for bank exams,

*There are certain booklets that are received by a person from the bank once they fill up the application form, but it should be noted that these notes are not sufficient for the preparation of bank exams.
so, mind these things and achieve your goal.
