dear friend,
THE ELGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IAS EXAM-

Academic qualification-

The candidate must have complete the graduation in any discipline..

The candidate must have complete the graduation from a recognize institute..

Age criteria-

The candidates age should be in between 21-30years for general..

There is age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC category...

for SC/ST age relaxation is 5years..
for OBC age relaxation is 3years..

As you have done your BBA and MBA from IIPM then you can appear in IAS exam...
After clearing the exam they will call you for the interview..

so, go for it..

All the best..

Re: If a person does BBA and MBA from IIPM then is he eligible for IAS exam?

Yes Why not!!

You are perfectly eligible providing that your age is between 21 years and 30 years.
[33 years for Sc/ST]...

The only educational qualification for IAS is a graduation degree from in any discipline from any recognized university.....whether its IIPM or any university.

Other points to remember:

You should have good knowledge in current affairs and social issues.
[Because you need to have very strong in that]

Final year students are eligible for IAS.

But if selected, then final years students have to show their certificate of passing at the time of interview.

Hi, my friend, IIPM is not recognized under the UGC.
so, you can not apply for IAS with a degree from IIPM. You must get a degree from any recognized university to be eligible for any competitive exam like UPSC,SSC or any PSU.

Best of luck. Feel free to ask if doubts remain.
