Re: Is it possible to prepare for Civil Services Exam in a proper way while doing Job?

this is depends upon you and your job.
because this is a hard work to study regularly along with job.
then this is requiring a high capicity. and if your is attached with your study then it will be helpful for you.
so, as my point of view you have to join a coaching center for the preparation of these exams.

this will helpful for you.
good luck.

Hello There!

You must know that cracking Civil Services Exams is not an easy task to do.It needs dedication and thorough preparation. The candidate needs to devote quality time to prepare oneself for the exam and thereby appear for the same.

Now to be able to prepare or not solely depends on the the type of job that you are doing. If you are in a job that has a hectic Schedule and you are left with little time for studies then you wont be able to prepare nicely for the concerned Exam. But if you are in a job which give you enough time then you can definitely prepare yourself for Civil services exams..

Best wishes....

hello friend,
In my opinion even if it is possible then also you quit the job because you know that you have to compete with many others who are completely devoted to this exam ,so why to go for a half-hearted try.....right??
If you really want to do well you should concentrate and focus fully on preparations.

best of luck

Hi,
It depends on the type of Job you are doing. If you get time for yourself that you can invest in self study then you can definitely prepare for civil services. If you don't get time then I will suggest you to first make yourself financially secured and take off from your job.Devote your time for preparations.

Best Wishes...

Re: Is it possible to prepare for Civil Services Exam in a proper way while doing Job?

It very much depends on the type of job you are indulged into.
Generally jobs become liability to executives and hence therefore mostly people
don't get free time to concentrate for studies.
If your job takes less than 6 hours of yours and your indulgence can't go beyond
6 hours then anyone can get time for studies otherwise it is very difficult.

I would suggest you that you work for some time (like 2-3 years) to be financially
strong and to collect work experience in your field of qualification so that you have
some support.

If you are not at all financially weak then you should not waste your time in jobs.

If, neither you are financially strong nor you want to go for some job then you should
catch up private teaching line. Choose that subject only which you like most and also
you should have good command on that subject. In that case you can give tuition to
students to make money. Also your time will be saved because you don't need to waste
extra time at home for preparing teaching materials. Very importantly you can take that
subject as an optional subject in civil services.

Civil Services is perhaps the toughest exam to crack
The reason being there's no predefined syllabus
Anything can come from anywhere
You need to work heart out in order to score
Its really very tough to pursue both the job as well as preparation for the exam at one time
Try to concentrate on one thing at a time

Hi Richa, Now this totally depends on the level of hard work you can do and the stress you can take.Every year you can find so many examples of working people, qualifying the civil services exams.

So its you who will take the ultimate decision, and yes its possible.

Best of luck. Feel free to ask if doubts remain.

Re: Is it possible to prepare for Civil Services Exam in a proper way while doing Job?

Dear friend,
I tell you truth that's it's very tough to prepare for Civil service exam while doing their job.Because to get selection in civil service exam you must be perfect in each section for these you have to give time for that exam.
If you are doing job then it's tough for you to give time and your mind too divert to two way one thing is job and other study.
But if you do time management well and do hardwork then their is chance you can crack these exam but not fully.
So if you are really dedicated towards civil exam then take a break of three month from your job and do seriouslly preperation for it and then see success is your's.
Good luck
